The NTHS CABINETMAKING program is located in the Watertown High school building. The CABINETMAKING program was added to Northeast Technical High School in Fall of 2008. The CABINETMAKING shop is fully stocked with most of the industrial machines that are used in a typical cabinet shop.
CABINETMAKING is part of the building trades industry. Cabinets are a major part of any kitchen or bath. The cabinetmaking class will provide an in depth look at building cabinets and furniture using modern techniques. There are many finish carpentry skills that are taught during the course of CABINETMAKING I & CABINETMAKING II. Each class is a semester long.
Northeast Technical High School participates in Skills USA. Skill USA is a club or organization designed to help students to become leaders in industrial type careers. Skill USA also helps All students become leaders no matter the future career plans.
